Jack picks up his bowl (or Brandy's bowl) out of the holder and brings
it to whoever he can find, hoping someone will put food in it--ROFL.
Of course it occasionally works because everyone thinks it is so cute
they give him something! Then yesterday he actually took Brandy's
bowl all the way around to the front yard to my sister, and left it
there. When I came home she told me where it was and said not to yell
at Brandy because HE had done it. Suppertime, I told Jack he had to
go find Brandy's bowl before he could eat---and Dana I swear, my
sister was there to witness it--- he starting looking around the
garage (where I feed them), ran out in the yard looking, and finally
seemed to "remember" and ran around the house to the front yard, found
her bowl and brought it back as proud as a peacock! We both laughed
our butts off!!! If only I'd had it on film- that would have been a
GREAT commercial for you :)

"We have an older lab that was having problems with her coat and skin. Also, she was losing weight. The vet said it could be the corn filler in the supermarket dog food we were giving her.

"Hi, I just wanted to let you know I ordered and received your puppy kibble and I was at my last resort with my Chihuahua 7 month old. She won’t eat any puppy food I buy her and I buy Quality food not from stores with still no luck she sticks her nose up at it.
We do not feed her people food because I am a vet tech and it is not healthy for them. The minute I received your food (Rapid shipping I might add) I offered it to Lily and she ate the whole bowl and wanted more!!!! I am lost for words except A BIG THANK YOU. "We have always left the bag of dog food where our 14 year-old dog could reach it. When I introduced Flint River Ranch and put the food bag in the same room as always, he chewed a hole in the side of the bag to get to it! He has never done that with any other food. Thanks so much for the amazingly prompt shipment of my first order of Flint River Ranch dog food. After placing my order last weekend, I had my fingers crossed that I'd receive the shipment by Friday the 25th and was absolutely delighted to get it on Wednesday the 23rd!!!
My dogs are crazy for both the kibble and the dry water food. And, it was so easy to get the food! No lugging it in and out of the car...and that's a real plus since I just had rotator cuff surgery on my shoulder.

"Wow, Dana--that is incredible--that you would search the internet to see about dog allergies! I haven't gone to the site yet but thank you immensely!
Well, I am SURE the vet THINKS it is an airborne allergy; he didn't do any tests! Just gave her an injection at that point. Yes, I think it is seasonal, as well; during winter she didn't itch much but now that spring is here, she is 'busy' scratching again. Not ALL the time; just occasionally.
Yes, I believe in feeding my pet the best food I can afford and cutting down on the # of injections she receives, too. I have 'suffered' several deaths of my pets in the last 15 years and DO think diet might have played some part in their getting cancer, although I did feed the best, at that time, that I could.
I'll give you feedback after I check the site! Thanks again!

(I really didn't believe it could be the food - hehe) Another note: I have a 15 yr old Border Collie Mix boy, who has ALWAYS been a...puker - we have had him on special vet diets etc forever. "We have three Labs. Harley has food allergies resulting in itchy
skin, and Romeo has digestive problems. Joey can eat anything so his
involvement in this story is peripheral.
We had Harley and Romeo on Eukanuba's fish/potato kibble for about 6
weeks. Harley's itchy skin got a tiny bit better and Romeo's
digestive problems completely resolved, BUT they both hated the
food. Which is telling, because Labs will eat nearly ANYTHING! And
I had to agree -- the Eukanuba food smelled awful and after tasting a
morsel I could fully understand their lack of enthusiasm. Plus, none
of the pups were getting any treats because to be fair to all three I
had to find vegan treats and they're hard to find in stores.
This is where Flint River comes in. After extensive online
research, I found Flint River, and remembered a breeder telling me a
few years back about the quality of Flint River's product. Deciding
to put Harley and Romeo on a new food trial, I ordered 40# of the
Trout/Sweet Potato kibble and a bag of the corresponding wafer treats.
The kibble came yesterday and both Harley and Romeo were drooling as
I loaded it into the storage bin. I gave them a couple of bites and
they were HAPPY! They were waiting by the food bin this morning at
breakfast time. It's still too early to tell whether their physical
response will improve, but I'm just glad they're ready to eat again
with gusto.
This afternoon the Trout/Sweet Potato treats came. I gave each of
the three pups a bisquit -- again, eaten with gusto! It's good to
have treats in the house again that they all can enjoy.
I'm an advocate of "don't feed your animals something you wouldn't
eat yourself." So I've also sampled both the Flint River kibble and
the treats. None of the fishy odor or greasy aftermath of the
Eukanuba stuff. I was pleased.
Thanks so much for providing a healthy, reasonably--priced
alternative for food-allergic dogs.
I'll report back in a month to let you know how Harley and Romeo's
physical conditions are reacting. Meanwhile, here's a peek of our
amazing pups:
