This food is intended for puppies and adult dogs - it's our only choice for wet food.
A moist food without the can; just add warm water, stir and serve. The all-natural ingredients are blended, mixed, and manufactured using a combined formulation of freeze-dried, air-dehydrated, heat-dried, moist-cooked, and oven-baked ingredients.
Some of the special ingredients in the DryWater food are the freeze-dried vegetables that reconstitute to provide many nutritious benefits, including enzymes that are important for proper digestion. After reconstituting for a couple of minutes, the DryWater food looks like kibbles, vegetables, and pasta, with a thin gravy over all. And it smells so good that you'll want to eat it yourself.
Dry packaging has advantages over canned packaging: your dog isn't exposed to harmful heavy metals, there's no wasted food or dried-out leftovers, and no smelly cans to dispose of.
The DryWater concept required two years to develop. The total testing process involved food nutritionists, veterinarians, consultants, suppliers, manufacturing and other industry professionals to create this unique and healthier formula for dogs.
Easy to prepare: Scoop the desired amount of DryWater food into the dog's dish. Add enough warm (not hot) water to just cover the food, stir briefly to blend - allow 2 minutes to create a warm, light, and natural meaty gravy consistency. DryWater is a 100% complete and fully balanced meal. Serve as a single, complete hot meal or serve as a gravy-like topping over any of the Flint River Ranch dry dog foods.

Our Chicken Meal and other meat sources does not contain poultry by-products or other by-products like chicken feet, chicken heads, duck heads, beaks, feathers, fish heads, hides, hoofs and intestines. There are no breakfast food by-products, corn, cottonseed, corncobs, citrus pulp, soybeans, fillers, and no screening or other foreign materials such as noxious weeds, straw, hulls or chaff in our product.
Most brands of dog food include some of these by-products and chemical preservatives. The use of low quality products and chemical preservatives may be associated with dry skin, allergic reactions, dental disease, poor health and degenerative organ dysfunction.
There is no sprayed-on additive or greasy coating to make the taste acceptable. Ordinary dog foods are extruded under high pressure and extreme temperatures and then sprayed with fat and other products in order to encourage dogs to eat.
Oven-baking changes hard to digest starches into easy to digest dextrins, which are readily absorbed into your dog's system. The secret to Flint River Ranch's great nutrition is how many nutrients are present in the dog's food and how efficiently they are utilized when digested. The good value is baked-in, not sprayed on.
Our food is baked several times per week, so you always receive fresh food! One of the most important aspects of Flint River Ranch quality is our distribution system of moving the product from the manufacturer direct to the consumer "Direct from the Oven to your Home." It is a necessary benefit in providing a "fresh" food product with premium nutrition. This is one reason Flint River Ranch products are not available in grocery and warehouse stores.
Because the Kibble is high density, you feed 20%-25% less than other foods. Each serving delivers maximum nutrition without fillers, so you'll also notice a lower stool volume and less clean-up.
It is better to introduce super premium foods by first mixing with your dogs usual food. You should make the change gradually over 5-7 days by mixing the FRR food with the brand previously used. Start with a mixture of 10% - 15% FRR food, then increase the percentage of FRR food by 10% - 15% each day until the transition is complete. Without the gradual transition from the other brand to richer FRR food, pets may get upset stomachs and diarrhea. Don't try to speed the process by mixing a bag of each food together for a 50/50 mix and starting your pet on that. You and your pet may both be dissatisfied with the results.
Feed your dog once or twice a day. Food requirements vary depending on climate, breed of dog and exercise activity. Feed an amount that will maintain your dog's weight.
