Although registering is not required to make a purchase, it makes your shopping experience more convenient.
Your personal information such as name and address are automatically used whenever you checkout. Also, your order history is retained and can be viewed by you at any time.

What are your shipping charges?
Shipping charges are included in all FLINT RIVER RANCH orders greater than $9.00. All orders under $9.00 will be charged an additional $3.50 for shipping.
The shipping charges do not apply to samples. Those are shipped separately and include FREE shipping if you purchase at least 5.

What is The Precious Paw's guarantee or return policy?
All FLINT RIVER RANCH products are 100% GUARANTEED, and may be returned for any reason for exchange, or full refund within 30 days of invoice. Please contact us before returning an item. Returns must have prior approval.

How am I supposed to lift 40lb, 200lb, and 520lb bags?!?
All Flint River Ranch products are shipped in bags of 20 pounds or less. Thus, a 40 pound order consists of two 20 pound bags.

Where can you ship to?
Flint River Ranch distribution centers currently ship to all 48 continental states. We cannot ship internationally, or to Alaska and Hawaii.

What is the autoshipment delivery option?
We offer a customized autoshipment delivery schedule. Since Flint River Ranch products are consumable, it is very convenient for repeat customers to subscribe to our autoshipment program.
During your purchase, specify the shipment interval for each product. We will automatically charge your credit card and ship the product(s) to you. A credit card is required in order to subscribe to the autoshipment program!
We will send you an email to confirm your order 1 week before shipment.
You can manage your own subscription on our web site by clicking on the "autoshipment schedule" link in the upper right (this link appears once you login). You can cancel or change the delivery schedule (dates), products, etc. at any time by contacting us, clicking on the link in our reminder email, or using our web site.

How does The Precious Paw calculate sales tax charges?
The sales tax charged for an individual transaction is based on the ship-to address, which is defined as the location where the product is ultimately to be shipped/sent. Since The Precious Paw is located in New York, only those orders shipped within New York are charged sales tax. The tax rate is 8 5/8%. In most cases, sales tax will apply to the shipping and handling fee as well as the product price.

Why does The Precious Paw collect sales tax on Internet sales?
If your state has a sales tax, it most likely applies to all purchases made, even from out of state vendors. However, we are only responsible to charge you sales tax if the ship-to address is New York (because that is our state of business).

Why do you collect sales tax on the shipping and handling fee?
Although New York does not require sales tax on a separately stated, reasonable shipping charge, this charge is generally regarded as taxable when it is combined with a handling fee. Because The Flint River Ranch charges a shipping and handling fee, applicable sales tax is collected on this fee, in addition to the tangible product. The Precious Paw must collect this tax from the customer.

How soon will I receive my product(s)?
The average total time from order placement to arrival is 5 to 7 business days. All non-sample orders ship UPS ground, all sample orders ship USPS Priority Mail.
The physical location of The Precious Paw (New York) does not affect your shipping time!! We enter every order into Flint River Ranch's corporate system. Then, the food is drop-shipped directly from the closest distribution center.
There are 4 regional warehouses capable of shipping all Flint River Ranch products. These centers are located in:

- Atlanta, GA
- Pittsburgh, PA
Additionally, there are a number of logistical warehouses capable of shipping the most popular products, including 20lb and 40lb bags of all the products. These centers are located in:
